Even though this week was unseasonably warm, my place has already started to take on the feeling of winter. The flowers I’ve chosen are all deep, jewel tones, there are heavy blankets over each chair, and the candles I’ve been burning are primarily woodsy scents. It’s a nice way to embrace the transitioning of seasons and for the first time, I’m almost looking forward to turning back the clocks this weekend.
